Dr. Day is a peer reviewer for Southern Baptist Theological Seminary’s Journal for Discipleship and Family Ministry. He has presented four papers in regional and annual meetings of The Evangelical Theological Society, has published an article in the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society and an article in Presbyterion, and has written a book entitled Jesus, the Isaianic Servant: Quotations and Allusions in the Gospel of John under Gorgias Press.

He desires to train pastors and ministry leaders so that they can effectively share an understanding of the story of the Bible with others in order that others might hear and believe in Jesus and his redemptive work on their behalf. His prayer is that students would grow not just in knowledge, but more importantly in their love of Jesus Christ.
