This year we are so pleased to have four children and one nephew of alumni join IGSL as freshmen, the biggest number of second generation students in a batch so far.

Dear friends,

A few weeks from now, we will be welcoming a new batch of students. And as preparations for a new school year continue, I can’t help but reflect on God’s faithfulness in the lives of those whom He has called to full time ministry. IGSL currently has 1,400 alumni serving in 39 different countries, mostly in the 10/40 window*. This would not have been possible without you who have stood and continue to stand alongside us as channels of God provision so that Christian leaders can be equipped and sent out to the harvest field.

Your investment in the lives of these leaders are being multiplied not just in external spheres of influence but also in their own families. This year we are so pleased to have four children and one nephew of alumni join IGSL as freshmen, the biggest number of second generation students in a batch so far. Let’s get to know them.

In the previous years we also had second generation students including Milton Luga (Philippines) in 2015, Jon San Diego (Philippines) in 2017, Tim Castro (Philippines) in 2018, Melchizedek Tan (Philippines) and Mercy Mawi (Myanmar) in 2019, and just last year, Denzel Lumawag and Marian Duyan, both from the Philippines. We hope to see many more next generation leaders who will follow in the footsteps of their parents and the Lord Jesus into the mission field.

Again, thank you so much, dear friends, for being a continual source of encouragement and joy to the IGSL community through prayers and financial support. Let me know how we could pray for you as well. You may send your prayer requests to dr.crisuy@igsl.asia or simply reply to this email.

Yours for the fulfillment of the Great Commission,
Dr. Cris Uy
IGSL President

We hope to see many more next generation leaders who will follow in the footsteps of their parents and the Lord Jesus into the mission field.
