Rev. Benjamin Joseph L. Villanueva (Pastor BJ to his friends and students) is a Missionary Pastor at Christian Bible Church of Las Pinas since 2014, involved in preaching, equipping, life mentoring, and discipling in small groups. A pastor for 16 years now, BJ has served in various churches. He was a former Assistant Pastor at GCF Paranaque from 2011-2014, an Assistant Pastor at GCF South Metro from 2009-2011 and was Resident Pastor of Caloocan Evangelical Church from 2005-2009. His key involvements throughout were in equipping emerging leaders, and discipling in small groups, worship ministry, and pastoral care.
Prior to joining the faculty of IGSL, BJ was a Faculty at FEBIAS College of Bible in Valenzuela City from 2016-2020, and was the Officer-in-Charge for the Bible and Theology Department from 2017-2020. He has taught Pastoral subjects, Old Testament, and Theology. He likewise coached and mentored students in their personal walk and ministry.
BJ is happily married to Daybhie (Beng) for 15 years now, and are blessed with two wonderful children, Joshua Keith and Kirsten Daybhie. He loves to play board games, especially with his family, watch and discuss movies, and tinker with computers and gadgets.
