Alumni Reunion Sri Lanka
February 22 found Leah Darwin, Cynthia Roxas, Gerri Miller and myself winging our way to Sri Lanka. For all four of us, it was our first time in this beautiful country. Pursuing God’s Agenda for the Family
Praise God for the I Still Do (ISD) Facilitators Training conducted by FamilyLife Philippines! On the first two days of February, 29 couples from different parts of Metro Manila, Isabela, Baguio, Nueva Vizcaya, Laguna, and Bacolod gathered at the IGSL chapel and were strengthened in their vision of pursuing God’s agenda for the family. Living Out His Calling
This was why Joseph Fernando, a graduating IGSL student, accepted God’s call and became a math and English teacher back in his home country of Sri Lanka. As a passionate follower of Christ, Joseph was a teacher with a burden to help struggling math students gain confidence in the subject and to know the God who loved them. Because teaching was a calling from the Lord, Joseph was committed to becoming the best teacher he could be. After receiving a promotion at his school, he felt led to pursue higher education at IGSL.
