Dr. Kevin Conway is the Director of the Institute of Biblical and Theological Studies (IBTS) for Eastern Europe and Russia. Aside from his teaching responsibilities with the IBTS team, he serves as pastor of Danube International Church in Budapest.
Before joining Cru in 2013, he was in sales in the computer and leasing industry and also had his own small business. Dr. Conway left that world to become a missionary in Bosnia and Croatia where he was involved in church planting during and following the recent war. After his PhD studies, he taught at the Evangelical Theological Seminary and several other teaching venues in Eastern and Central Europe. He also tutored Greek at the University of Cambridge.
Dr. Conway is originally from the States. He is married to Rahela from Croatia, and they are blessed with three children. He wrestled in college and also represented the USA in Olympic Freestyle Wrestling. He enjoys watching Southeastern Conference college football when he gets the chance, and roots for the team of his alma mater – the University of Tennessee Volunteers.
