Derick Parfan joined the adjunct faculty at IGSL in 2012. He has also been serving as Leading Pastor at Baliwag Bible Church in Bulacan since 2009.
Before serving in the ministry full-time, he worked as a Water Resources Engineer at San Miguel Corporation from 2003 to 2007. Now, he strives to be God’s pipeline, bringing God’s water of life to people who desire true and lasting satisfaction.
He writes and compiles Gospel-centered sermons, articles, Bible study guides and other disciple-making resources for the Filipino Church on his website, TREASURING CHRIST PH.
Derick is the husband of Jodi and father of two sons, Marcus Daniel and Stephen Lucas. They live in Bulacan, a few hours north of Metro Manila. In his spare time, he enjoys playing table tennis, watching movies with family, and reading novels by John Grisham, Michael Crichton and Robert Ludlum.
