IGSL FACULTY MEMBER SINCE 2014
Craig Thompson serves as Director of the Leadership Programs Strategic Team and as such, he is part of IGSL’s Leadership Team. Craig and his wife Alyse have been joyfully married since 1996. They are both originally from Texas, but consider Chicago their second home. Alyse and Craig have served at IGSL since 2014 through their sending mission agency, TeachBeyond.
Before coming to IGSL Craig led church college ministries for 10+ years. He worked at Dallas Theological Seminary and Wheaton College as well as teaching Philosophy and Ethics at DuPage County Community College in Illinois.
Currently Craig serves as the Director of Leadership Programs and greatly enjoys working together with the IGSL Leadership Team. He also functions as the acting Academic Dean. While continuing his responsibilities at IGSL, Craig is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Theological Studies.
In whatever free moments he has, Craig enjoys basketball (both watching and playing), photography, movies, reading fiction, and studying Theology, Philosophy, and Martin Luther.
