June 2026
Dear IGSL Family,
By God’s grace, 64 leaders representing 11 countries in Asia and Africa graduated on June 6, 2026, during IGSL’s 40th Commencement Exercises with the theme “Flourishing in Christ: Empowered, Equipped, Engaged.” Through your partnership in the ministry, these servant-steward leaders have been equipped for strategic impact in fulfilling the Great Commission. We praise God for each of the graduates and for you who have stood alongside them in their IGSL journey.
Dear IGSL Family,

We praise God for each of the graduates and for you who have stood alongside them in their IGSL journey.
Mirasol Mendoza, one of the recipients of the President’s Award, served as the Voice of the Graduates and shared that the IGSL journey of Batch 2026 is like being in a greenhouse where the Master Gardener has “watered (them) with His Word, pruned what hindered (their) growth, strengthened (their) roots through challenges, and cultivated in (them) a deeper faith.” She emphasized that the Class of 2026, nurtured by the IGSL community, remains “rooted in Christ and connected to the Vine” as they return to their ministries or move into new service opportunities.
As another school year ended, we continue to reflect on what a gift it is to take part in the Lord’s Great Commission by building leaders for transformation.
We look forward to more leaders from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) who will study in IGSL. The addendum to the existing Memorandum of Agreement between IGSL and the AFP now allows qualified non-commissioned officers and non-uniformed personnel to apply for a scholarship to take the Master of Arts in Transformational Leadership. IGSL President Dr. Great B. Mabuti and Lt. Gen. Rommel P. Roldan, acting AFP chief of staff, led the signing of the addendum during a ceremony on June 3 at the AFP General Headquarters in Camp Aguinaldo.

The ceremony was witnessed by IGSL alumni BGen Ernest John C. Jadloc PA – MATL 2011 (2nd to the left), Supt Zonnie Cabaron BJMP (Ret) – MATL 2015 and current IGSL faculty (5th to the left), Lt Col Brian C Rayton PAF – MATL 2017 (right), and IGSL faculty Dr. Great B. Mabuti (President), Dr. Paul Calamiong (Administrator), and Dr. Tom Roxas (President Emeritus), together with the AFP officers led by Lt. Gen. Rommel P. Roldan (seated, right).
BGen Ernest John C. Jadloc of the Philippine Army, the first IGSL graduate from the uniformed services, who helped pave the way for the MOA, shared how the servant-steward leadership he learned in IGSL has impacted his decision-making, values, and skills as a leader often deployed in areas where there are insurgencies. Beyond the usual military strategies, he considers the cultures and basic needs of the communities he serves, thus significantly contributing to community development with few or zero casualties among those he leads.
Thank you once again for your unwavering support, dear ministry partners. Together with you, we will continue to raise leaders who will bring the gospel to Asia and beyond and lead people, communities, and nations to flourish in Jesus Christ.
Serving with you in building leaders for transformation,
Great B. Mabuti, PhD
