Bong Baylon enjoys reading books, listening to audiobooks, and jazz music while sharing black coffee with friends. Although he played basketball in his youth, he no longer participates in the sport. Since 1991, Bong has served as a pastor and is one of the founding pastors of Real Life Christian Communities in San Pedro, Laguna. He and his wife have two grown sons, John David and Joseph Immanuel, who are both still single.
