fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. -Hebrews 12:2
Dear IGSL Family,

Twice a year, the global family of Cru gathers together for a day of prayer to focus on God and intercede for the expansion of His Kingdom. It’s a day where we re-align our hearts with God’s, especially with the ministries He has entrusted to Cru in fulfilling the Great Commission. As part of the worldwide ministry of Cru, the IGSL community gathered with Cru Philippines and Cru SESA (Southeast and South Asia) for the Worldwide Day of Prayer on October 7, 2025.
We were all reminded and encouraged to fix our eyes on Jesus as we run the race He has set before us. And one of the ways we fix our eyes on Jesus is by setting our hearts on things above, instead of earthly and temporal things. Would you join us in praying for three of the countries represented by our IGSL students? All three countries are experiencing political and social unrest, which weighs heavily on our students’ hearts. As we pray together, we can align our hearts to God’s will and entrust these nations to him.

Please note that these are sensitive prayer requests and should not be shared publicly.

Pray as well for IGSL alumni and students, especially those in the uniformed services, for courage and wisdom in upholding integrity and righteousness as they serve in the government. Ultimately, let us ask God for leaders and people of the nations to encounter Jesus and follow Him as Lord and Savior.

Thank you, dear IGSL ministry partners, for praying with and for us. We would love to pray for you, too. You can send us your prayer requests by replying to this email.

Let’s continue to fix our eyes on Jesus as we labor together for the expansion of His Kingdom and the glory of His name.

Serving Christ with you for the nations,

Great B. Mabuti
