As we enter the fourth quarter of the year, what thoughts or concerns immediately come to mind? Do you look forward to this time of the year or are you hesitant to enter this season? Whatever we may be feeling right now, God’s invitation to seek Him still stands. Such is the heart of our Heavenly Father toward us.
When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You,
“I shall seek Your face, Lord.” (Psalm 27:8, NASB)
Seek the Lord and His strength;
Seek His face continually. (1 Chronicles 16:11, NASB)
On Tuesday, October 4, the IGSL family will spend time in prayer together with the whole Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) community worldwide. Is there anything you would like for us to pray for you specifically?
As we are partners in ministry and part of the same family, it is always our joy to pray for and with you.
Thank you for upholding us in your prayers as well, especially for…
- planning and preparation for ministry week (Nov. 3-7); protection for all of the teams and unity in heart, mind, and will as they minister together with partner churches and persons of peace; a harvest of souls and the church equipped and strengthened
- humble dependence on and faithfulness to God, that we may live and lead like Him each day
- keep in step with the Holy Spirit and fix our eyes on Jesus, that we may see the world as He sees it and recognize where and to whom He is leading us to serve
Again, thank you for your dedicated partnership with us in God’s Kingdom work. Together, let’s continue to “seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.” (Isaiah 55:6)
Yours for the fulfillment of the Great Commission,
Dr. Cris Uy
