Lizette Knight is an educator through and through, equipping others in education, evangelism, discipleship, and missions through her published works, and teaching locally and internationally in and outside the classroom. She had over twenty-five years of experience in the academe before joining IGSL. While her undergraduate degree is in Chemical Engineering, Lizette has always had a special affinity for education. She started as a preschool teacher at Naylor Children’s Center, Fort Worth, Texas USA in the 1990s, and was a visiting professor at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary from 2006-2007. She was a long-time professor at Asia Baptist Graduate Theological Seminary and Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary from 2000-2015, and has held distinct roles in the same institution: Associate Dean, and Dean for ABGTS. In 2014, she was named Endowed Professor of the Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary with the highest ranking. She served as a professor at the same institution from 2000-2015, as the Field Education Director, and Director of Seminary Education by Extension.

She brings with her over two decades of expertise as a statistician and consultant for thesis and dissertation writing. Her published works have also been greatly used in equipping for the ministry. She has written multiple articles both locally and internationally that are related to teaching and ministry, and she has authored and co-authored many books.

Lizette sees herself as having a www role: wife, worker (worker for the Lord), and writer. She and her husband, Michael both enjoy writing, traveling, and walking. They first met at SWBTS in Fort Worth, Texas during their regular walking exercise.
