Dear friends, After three years of holding graduations online, this year we were finally able to gather in person to celebrate the achievements of 28 graduates representing 7 countries, accomplishing 7 programs from Certificate Programs to Doctor of Philosophy. God is so faithful for carrying us through the tough years of the pandemic and allowing us to still pursue equipping leaders for His kingdom.

We also recognized the graduates from 2020 to 2022, making this momentous occasion a heartwarming reunion. We praise God for His work in and through them in the church, cross-cultural missions, government, business, education, and in other mission fields He has called them to.

Indeed, for IGSL Class of 2023, including those that have graduated before them, their theme “Fruit Full: Abiding in Christ and Loving Others for God’s Glory” had been and continues to be shown in their studies, ministries, and personal growth. And we pray that each of them will continue to be “fruit full.”

It was with great joy as well that we awarded the degree of Doctor of Transformational Leadership, honoris causa, to our guest speaker, Rev. In Soo Jeong, whose life and ministry through Campus Crusade for Christ and East Asia School of Theology have blessed so many around the world throughout the years since he graduated from ISOT-Asia in 1984.

Again, thank you for your sacrificial and generous giving, constant and faith-filled intercession, wise counsel and leadership, and the many ways you partner with us in the ministry for the strategic fulfillment of the Great Commission! Each of you is a great encouragement and a cherished blessing to us. We sincerely appreciate you.

As always we would love to pray for you, dear ministry partners. How are you experiencing God’s hand in bringing fruitfulness to your life? Let’s praise God together for it. Is there a specific area in which you are praying for fruitfulness? Let’s pray together for it.

Yours for the fulfillment of the Great Commission,
Dr. Cris Uy
IGSL President
