Pilimilose Finau started teaching at IGSL in 2010, a year after graduating from her master’s degree. She is an instructor in the Partners in Ministry (PIM) program, a certificate program that aims to equip ministry wives in the areas of biblical content, godly character, conviction, and competence in ministry.
She also leads an Iron Sharpening Group (ISG), a weekly meeting of students led by a faculty mentor for the purpose of mutual encouragement, prayer, Bible study, and fellowship.
Lose, as she is called by everyone, has been a career staff of ACTION International Ministries since 2007. Prior to that, she worked in the administrative office of Tonga Defence Services from 1990 to 2004 and received training as information systems operator-analyst from the United States Army Signal Center in Fort Gordon, Georgia, USA.
As a teacher, she loves helping students develop a passion for reaching not only their own people group, but other nations as well. Discipleship is another ministry close to her heart.
Lose is originally from the Kingdom of Tonga. She is married to Seni, and they are blessed with four lovely children—Simione, Monu, Mana, and Lanu. In her spare time, she enjoys reading as well as playing volleyball. Among her favorite books are Creative Counterpart by Linda Dillow and those authored by Nancy Leigh DeMoss.
