Louise and her husband, Dan, came to IGSL in January 2020, where she teaches English to wives of students and meets with a group of them weekly for discipleship and mentoring. They served in Papua, Indonesia with The Evangelical Alliance Mission from 2011 to 2019. Prior to this, Louise worked as licensed labor and delivery nurse from 1991 to 2009 with certification in fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, and advanced adult cardio resuscitation.

In the Bible school campus in Papua, she taught children ranging from ages 5-17 in the Bible, reading, and mathematics. She also provided basic health care to the families on campus and held weekly health education classes for women.

One of her greatest joys is having a child discover the power of reading, especially seeing a child read God’s word for the first time.

Louise and Dan are from the USA. They are blessed with three grown sons, Benjamin, Noah, and Daniel and a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth, married to their eldest, Benjamin. Louise enjoys hiking in God’s beautiful world, biking with her husband, reading novels, and baking cookies.
