Her warm, infectious smile with a calm and gentle voice always leaves a mark to anyone she meets for the first time, both young and old alike.

Daybhie, more known as Beng, is a Licensed Professional Teacher, majoring in Values Education. She and husband BJ are both Missionaries of  Christian Bible Church of Las Pinas, serving with them since  2014. For the past 16 years, they have been partners in church ministry serving in various locations in the Philippines (Caloocan, Paranaque City and Las Pinas City). Prior to joining the faculty team of IGSL, Beng has served the IGSL community through Dynamic Learning Center, the in-house homeschooling center for the children of the students living on campus.

Mentoring and education is very much Beng’s passion. She was a teacher and became an assistant principal at Caloocan Evangelical School, Inc. from 2004-2008.  She later on focused on homeschooling her children from the year 2011 and she still does up to the present.   It is her homeschooling advocacy that opened doors for her to minister at IGSL’s Dynamic Learning Center, where she served as a teacher from 2016-2020, during which she was also in-charge of the children’s library and resource center.

Beng is not only a teacher to kids! She is a mentor to women as well.  She is presently involved in the Children’s Ministry, and also disciples women of all ages through the small group fellowships in her local church.

A sport enthusiast, Beng loves playing volleyball. She also enjoys making desserts- a skill she openly shares with her students and other women.  She also loves spending time with children.

Relationships are among the things that matter a lot to Beng: “I love to talk about families: the husband-and-wife relationship and parenting matters. I also love to mentor people, helping them grow in their spiritual walk with Christ.”
