Cynthia Roxas has been on staff with CRU Philippines (formerly Phil. Campus Crusdae for Christ) since 1982. Her involvements with CRU since then are the following: She has attended leadership training with CRU International on Coaching, Strategic Planning, Emotional Quotient Assessment, Sharpening Your Interpersonal Skills and many others.
She was leading the Women’s Ministry for the CRU national leaders’ wives in SouthEast Asia for about 9 years. A recipient, together with her husband, Tom Roxas, of Global Leadership Award by CRU International.
She has been with IGSL since 1988. Her involvements with IGSL have been:
Registrar when it was ISOT-Asia then. * Has been teaching in the Partners in Ministry (PIM) program, a certificate program of IGSL for ministry wives, since 1996. PIM is designed to grow and equip ministry wives in the areas of biblical content, godly character, and competence in the ministry. Has been involved in the PIM extension program by helping put together its curriculum and teaching materials. She is also a part of the PIMEx leadership team. She has facilitated PIMEx courses with key pastors’ wives of Christ Commission Fellowship (CCF) and now with an international group with Indonesians and Koreans as participants. * She was IGSL’s Operations Director for 5 years (2016-2021).
She is part of the Alumni ONWARD team. Cynthia hails from Camarines Sur. She is married to Tom Roxas and has three children: Pristine, Patrick and Pete. Pristine is a campus missionary with CCF. Patrick is a music lecturer at the University of the Philippines, is married with one child. Pete is graduating from college in Ateneo in 2024.
Cynthia is passionate about teaching the Word and discipling women, particularly the ministry wives, helping them grow and be equipped for a lifetime of vibrant and fruitful ministry with their husbands – all for the glory of God.
