Amy Barber and her husband Ron are parents of three grown children, and five grandchildren. Before coming to IGSL, Amy and Ron served as missionaries with TEAM (The Evangelical Alliance Mission) in Japan for 23 years, and in New Zealand for 3 years. They have served at IGSL since 2015.
Amy’s mission is to equip young women to do Christian ministry and to encourage them in their relationships with their husbands and children. She enjoys doing this through interacting with young mothers and wives on the IGSL campus. At the same time, she reaches an even larger audience through her website www.amysfreeideas.com, a site designed for families, churches, and children’s ministries. The website has had more than a million visitors from over 120 countries.
