Michael Banks formerly serves in the Intercultural-Studies (ICS) department at IGSL teaching Cross-Cultural Expansion of the Church. While completing his ThM in Old Testament studies at Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS), Michael developed a passion for exploring the Old Testament through a missional hermeneutic, and honed a love for historical-theological studies.
Formerly Michael worked as a missionary with Campus Crusade (Cru) in Kolkata, India (with previous involvement with campus ministry at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA). Michael has also worked in marketing and social media for a startup and church in Atlanta, Georgia.
Michael is married to His wonderful wife, Rebekah Banks. He enjoys poetry, warm bowls of sinigang, systematic theology and boardgames.
