Jezreel Kay (Awit) Leones loves making and drinking coffee, baking cookies, cakes, and brownies that go perfectly with coffee, and listening to others and engaging in godly conversations over coffee.

At IGSL, she teaches with the Education faculty team, training students to design and develop training and discipleship programs and materials. She also functions as the EdTech coordinator, helping the school utilize its technology resources for effective learning and teaching.

Before coming to IGSL in 2019, she has served alongside her husband, John Leones, in church planting and pastoral ministries in Eastern Samar, Philippines. They have two kids, Tim and Triny, whom they homeschooled for about five years.

Awit’s prior teaching experiences include being a computer science instructor at the University of the Philippines Tacloban, where she also served as the faculty adviser for the Cru UP Tacloban Student LinC.
